VITAMIN E SUPPLEMENT

Vitamin E is essential for good muscle tone, especially the heart muscle. A deficiency will lead to muscle degeneration and tiring, hypersensitivity to pain, and skin problems.Vitamin E improves the utilisation of oxygen in all body tissues, assisting metabolism and body defence and aids in blood supply to the heart and other essential muscles. This improved blood supply in effect increases the oxygen carrying capacity of the blood.

VITAMIN C SUPPLEMENT

Vitamin C will maintain its potency for extended periods provided it is kept under cool, dry conditions and in an airtight container.

The horse, unlike primates, synthesises its own Vitamin C. It is therefore endogenous in the equine. Theoretically, supplementation should not be necessary. However, research has shown, that Vitamin C levels fall dramatically, in times of stress and disease.

EMBROCOOL

Embrocool may be used as an aid in the treatment of muscular inflammation. It may also be applied as a conductor in E.C.G. and ultrasound procedures.

For topical use only. Massage gently into the affected area.Avoid use on open wounds or abrasions. Wash hands after use. Keep lid lightly closed to avoid drying out.

lVERMECTIN-PRAZIQUANTEL

Anthelmintic Paste is a palatable, broad spectrum worming paste, with a wide safety margin, designed for oral administration, by syringe.

KAOLIN CLAY POULTICE

Kaolin Clay Poultice is a valuable aid in the topical treatment of soreness, heat and inflammation in horses and other stock.

Apply liberally by hand to legs, joints, etc where heat, soreness or swelling is present. Ensure the area to be treated is clean & dry.Cover over poultice with plastic wrap and then bandage.Remove bandage in 12-24 hours and wash off poultice.Treatment may be repeated as often as necessary.

MUSCLE TONE CONCENTRATE

MuscleTone Concentrate is a purely natural substance, extracted from rice bran. It has been noted to improve muscle development in some livestock.As it is not a prohibited substance and is non steroidal, it may be fed safely, at the recommended levels.

VlTASEL E

Vitasel E is a highly concentrated blend of Selenium & Vitamins A, E & B1 that are required for horses that suffer from 'Tying-Up' or may be susceptible to it.

'Tying-Up' of the muscles: usually of the back legs, can be a problem in performance horses (particularly during early training); in young fillies on high oat diets, or in horses that are worked following a rest day on full racing ration. Horses returning from a spell and put into hard work can also be prone to symptoms of 'tying-up'.
